GoClubin.net believes in the responsible use of personal information. We understand that without the trust and respect of the musicians and fans that make up our community we'd have nothing. So we'll do everything we can to honor the privacy of anyone who signs up as a member.

Your Personal Information at Go Clubin.net
GoClubin.net is the sole owner of the personal information collected on this site, and we collect personal information from our users at several different points on the GoClubin.net website. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement.

GoClubin.net asks for personal information only when it's absolutely necessary. We require certain pieces of information (indicated with markers on the registration form) so we can provide you a personalized experience. And while we may use this information for research and to improve the site and services we offer you, unless you specifically give us permission to do so we promise not to pass on any of these personal details to third parties.

Here's the information that we require for basic registration at GoClubin.net

• A User Name is collected and made public on the site. (Your User Name is your login ID for the GoClubin.net site. It need bear no relation to your actual name). The following information is collected at registration but will never be made public on the site
• Your email address. (We send an email to this address as part of confirming your registration).
• A password for your account. (We remind you not to reveal your password to anyone).
• Your Full Name (We use this on the home page to greet you and to fill in the name field on the Contact Us form if you are logged in).
• State and zip code (We use the state and city information to provide location based searches. In the future we will provide zip code proximity searches).
• In addition, you are invited to "opt in" to receiving a regular newsletter from GoClubin.net, and you are free to opt out from this service at any point in the future (see "Opt Out" later in this document).

If you go on to register your Band or Entertainment Act with GoClubin.net, You can provide a "biography" of your act. These names and bio will be made public on your act's profile page. In addition you may provide additional information about your act for public display on your Band or Act Profile, but are under no obligation to do so.

The info that you provide for your Public Profile or for your Band or Act Profile will be publicly displayed without restriction on our website. By providing such info for public display on GoClubin.net you recognize that it may be considered public domain and as such may be viewed, copied, or re-distributed by anybody who visits our website. This public info includes without limitation band or act names, member names, bios, song names, and images, but not your songs or song lyrics. Nevertheless, you retain any trademark rights of your band/song names and any copyright of your music and lyrics.

Log Files
We log IP addresses to track what users have made certain page requests and at what time the request was made. We use this information to analyze trends, administer the site, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. This logging process does not store any personally identifiable information.

Emails
Except for administrative emails, GoClubin.net only sends emails to users who ask for them. Currently, GoClubin.net issues two types of email communication: the registration email when you first become a member and an opt-in newsletter. Occasional emails for the announcement of new site features, special events, or other things at GoClubin.net that we think would be interesting to the users are considered administrative emails.

Security Systems
This website takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Furthermore, all employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices and are regularly reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our customers' information is protected. Finally, the servers that we store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure environment.

We will share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person. When the user signs up for a service, we will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for that service to provide these services. Surveys & Contests
From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address). Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.

Tell-A-Friend
If a user elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our site, we ask them for the friend's name and email address. GoClubin.net will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting them to visit the site. GoClubin.net stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email. The friend may contact GoClubin.net to request the removal of this information from their database.

Opt out
Any user can at any time opt out of receiving any correspondence from us. If you get tired of getting the newsletter then simply use the "unsubscribe" option at the end of the mail to ensure you never hear from us again.
