Originally from Panama City, Panama (now Los Angeles, CA based) Cage9 has gigged with Cheap Trick, Seether, Amy Lee of Evanescence, Smile Empty Soul, Abloom, Authority Zero, Spineshank, James Iha, and more.
Signed with BMG Music Publishing, the trio has songs featured on the FX show "The Shield." Rolling Stone Magazine (Latin America) gave the CD a raving 3.5 star review. The band was mentioned in Billboard Magazine for winning Best Alternative Band, Best Male Vocalist and Best Video in 2003's Panamarock Awards. Cage9 was the 2003 #1 Ultimate Streetfight Champion on Streetwise's online fan competition, beating out hundreds of other bands.
