Act Bio
The band's lineup was founded in the summer of 1996. However, the group reformed in 2003, after a five-year vacation from the music scene. The group has played many venues in the Southern Maryland region and has acquired a strong fan base, and has received favorable support and reviews from local related print publications and television shows associated with self produced material and "indie" label record company associates.
The Silverado Band's musical style and background is derived from straight forward rock-n-roll, combined with hard driving southern-rock genre music styles, backed by heart-felt harmony vocal arrangements, with some real foot tapping dance tunes to provide musical entertainment for all types of audiences, regardless of their musical preferences. All of the group's material is written solely by the members themselves with inspiration based on real life experience.
